Question – Is normal Vaginal Delivery possible after Previous operation for fibroid (Myomectomy)?
Answer – Yes , normal vaginal delivery after fibroid operation is expected after myomectomy( operation for fibroid), however it also depend on type of operation, post operation complications ,reoccurrence of fibroid with present pregnancy and location, your present pregnancy e.t.c. It is advisable to see an obstetrician few weeks before your due date for further discussion and assessment. Also, make arrangement to deliver in a place where there is an obstetrician and gynaecology specialist on call in case of emergency.
